Thank you, Michael

Today is Michael Branagan's last day as Learning Journeys leader. He has been so kind and supportive to all the students this year again, helping with all sorts of things from damaged suitcases to boys with colds. Thank you, Michael for "going the extra mile" for the group.

Outside the Pharmacy

Malahide has so many different little shops and restaurants that it's a great place to see real English in context. Here are some of the boys who di the treasure hunt activity this week.

Half Way!

Wed 29th July is the half way point of the students stay in Ireland. After classes today the students all went up to Malahide Castle for an afternoon of sports. They played soccer volleyball and baseball and of course mingled with one another.

Life in Ireland

Thanks to Mr. Horiguchi for these nice pictures taken around the college and on the afternoon trip into town.

Fabulous Malahide

Malahide is a very pleasant environment to live and learn in. It's safe and clean and has plenty of shops and nice residential areas. Here are some pictures of typical streets in Malahide of the sort our students are living in.

Disco!

Some of the students participated in a small disco last night. They mixed well with the other students.

Good Bye and Thanks You Mr. Tsukiyama

Today we say "Good bye!" to Mr Tsukiyama. Thank you for giving your vacation time to allow the boys to enjoy studying abroad. Without these teachers, nothing would be possible. Have a safe trip home. Today Mr. Tsukiyama will be replaced by Mr. Horiguchi.

A Trip to Belfast

Today some of the boys took a trip to Belfast. This city has a rich and difficult history of conflict and now, thankfully, peace. The subject is hard for the students to understand but they enjoyed many sights in this interesting place.

Here Come the Cavalry!
